common areas clean and sanitary, taking reasonable steps to control pests and insects. b. Furniture or fixtures assigned to each residence space and common areas may not be moved or transferred from the assigned room or area under any circumstances. c. Changes or modifications to residence accommodations are prohibited. d. Students must submit a maintenance request for damages or special cleaning needs. e. Students are responsible for the care of college property in rooms, facilities, lounges, public areas, and the campus in general. Any resident who damages College property will be billed for repairs and may face disciplinary action. f. All students assigned to a specific room are responsible for its physical condition. Residents are also responsible for any damages caused by their guest(s). g. College property must not be removed from residence hall rooms without permission from Housing and Residence Life staff. Unauthorized possession of college property is prohibited. h. Hanging items that block exits or escape routes, such as beads, tapestries, flags, banners, or sheets, is prohibited. i. The following items are restricted decorative items that will be confiscated:  Alcohol paraphernalia  Dartboards

 Drug paraphernalia  Street or traffic signs  Restaurant or other advertising signs

2. Cohabitation Policy a. Cohabitation is not permitted. For on-campus housing, cohabitation is defined as unauthorized individuals staying in a residential unit for more than two (2) consecutive days or sharing space, including storing belongings, in a
