In the event the College orders the campus to close because of a hurricane, natural disaster, or other emergency, the Office of Housing and Residence Life will require students to vacate their rooms until further notice.

Check-Out Policy for Student Housing at Beacon College

Notification of Check-Out

 Residents must notify the Office of Housing and Residence Life at least two weeks in advance of their intended check-out date.  A formal check-out appointment must be scheduled with a Housing and Residence Life staff member.

Room Inspection

 Before check-out, a thorough inspection of the room will be conducted by a Housing and Residence Life staff member.  Residents must ensure their room is clean and free of any personal belongings. Any damages or missing College property will be documented.

Return of College Property

 All College-issued items, such as keys, access cards, and furniture, must be returned in their original condition.  Failure to return keys or access cards will result in a replacement fee.

Personal Belongings

 All personal belongings must be removed from the room by the check-out date. The College is not responsible for any items left behind.
