4. Guests and Visitor Policy a. Guests and Visitors in the residence halls must abide by the policy outlined in the Code of Conduct – Guests and Visitor Policy. b. All visitors must be registered with the Office of Housing and Residence Life upon arrival. c. Adult guests are allowed to stay for a maximum of two (2) consecutive nights and are limited to one (1) visit per month to ensure the comfort of all residents. d. Only one (1) overnight guest is permitted at one time. e. The consent of all roommates is required for any guest to stay overnight to ensure the rights and privacy of all residents. f. Residents are encouraged to seek mediation through the Office of Housing and Residence Life if disputes arise regarding visitors. g. Visitors must comply with all College policies and respect the community living environment. The College reserves the right to revoke visitor privileges if necessary to maintain safety and order. 5. Hall Sports and Games a. Engaging in sports, horseplay, or physically active games inside residential halls or apartments is prohibited. This includes frisbee, bowling, water fights, football, basketball, soccer, hockey, golf, rollerblading, riding in-line skates, hoverboards, skateboards, scooters, or running. Playing sports or games outside the residential community that presents a possibility of injury or damage is also prohibited. 6. Heating / Air Conditioning Units a. In order to keep the unit working, do not block the heating/air-conditioning unit with furniture, beds, or debris. Heating/AC filters will be changed regularly. b. Window air-conditioning units or portable heaters are not permitted unless installed by Facilities as a temporary measure. 7. Lockouts, Lost Keys, and Lock Changes a. Keys, locks, and doors are essential components for the safety and security of residents and their belongings. External and internal doors in all residence
