j. Overnight stays require 48-hour advance notice and are only permitted if pre-approved by the Office of Residence Life. k. Special circumstances requiring exceptions to visiting hours must be pre approved by the Dean, or their designee. l. Campus access is limited to public and designated areas, including specific recreational spaces. m. Academic and other professional/staff office buildings are off-limits unless in use for a college-sanctioned event or with a scheduled appointment. n. Presence in Beacon College classrooms is strictly limited to students enrolled in a course and visitors with a legitimate academic purpose. Beacon College faculty members should notify Campus Safety if unauthorized individuals are in their classes. These safeguards are also in force for professional/staff facilities associated with the College’s educational and developmental mission, such as the Counseling Center, the Center for Student Success, the Career Center, the Wellness Office, and the Athletic/Fitness Offices. o. Residential areas have specific access times and require accompaniment by a resident student. p. Visitors are expected to adhere to all College policies and respect College property. q. Host students are responsible for their visitors’ conduct. r. Visitors must be escorted at all times when on Beacon College campus property. s. Visitors must not interfere with the educational environment. t. In emergencies, visitors must follow the College's emergency protocols. 18. Harmful, Threatening, or Endangering Conduct a. Behavior that harms, threatens, or endangers the physical or emotional health or safety of self or others. b. A threat that causes fear of an attack or an actual physical attack by one or more people which may include one or more types of harm, such as pushing, shoving, slapping, punching, or kicking, regardless of whether physical injury
