15. Flammable Materials / Arson a. Use of items or materials to ignite, spread, or intensify flames for fire, or the attempt to ignite, spread, or intensify flames for fire, except as expressly permitted by college officials. b. Attempting to ignite and/or the action of igniting College and/or personal property on fire either by intent or through reckless behavior that results, or could result, in personal injury or property damage of college premises. 16. Gambling, Wagering, Gaming, and/or Bookmaking a. Gambling, wagering, gaming and bookmaking as defined by federal, state, local laws, and/or Beacon College policy are prohibited on college premises involving the use of college equipment or services. 17. Guests and Visitor Policy a. An adult must accompany those visitors under 18 years of age. Beacon College is not responsible for unaccompanied minors. b. No babysitting, either voluntary or compensated, is allowed by students in campus housing or other College-owned property. c. The College welcomes all visitors who contribute to a safe and positive campus environment, aligning with our community standards. Any visitor considered a security risk or any individual not in good standing with the College will be denied access. d. Visitors are required to register upon arrival with either the Office of Campus Safety or at the front desk of Beacon Hall during business hours. e. A valid photo ID must be presented at check-in. f. Visitors must provide their full name, contact information, the purpose of the visit, the name of the student or department being visited and their anticipated check-out time. g. Student or department representative must be present during visitor check in. h. A temporary visitor badge will be issued and must be worn visibly. i. General visiting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
