f. False reports of fire, false activations of emergency warning equipment, or false communication regarding the existence of explosives on college property. g. Abuse, removal, and/or damage to fire or safety equipment. h. Failure to vacate a building or facility when a fire alarm is activated. Failure to leave a building, street, walkway, driveway, or other facility of the College when directed to do so by an official of the College. 13. Failure to Comply a. Failure to comply with reasonable directives of a college official acting in the performance of their duties and/or abuse of campus resources. Campus resources are limited at the discretion of campus department. b. Failure to comply with directives for proper care of self, medication management, Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), and/or service animals. c. Failure to present student identification on directive or identify oneself to any college official acting in the performance of their duties. d. Failure to comply with the sanctions imposed by a Conduct Hearing Officer, or their designee, under the Student Code of Conduct. e. Failure to adhere to College safety protocols, including but not limited to, fire safety, public health guidelines, and digital security measures. f. Failure to follow College check-in and check-out procedures for campus housing. g. Failure to comply with College policies regarding hurricane preparedness and evacuation procedures, including evacuation timelines, shelter-in-place protocols, and compliance with safety advisories. 14. False Alarms or Terrorist Threats a. Intentional sounding of a false fire alarm, falsely reporting an emergency or terroristic threat in any form, issuing a bomb threat, constructing mock explosive devices, destruction or activation of fire sprinklers, filing false police reports, or improperly possessing, tampering with or destroying fire equipment or emergency signs on college premises.
