New Student Orientation Schedule

4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Student Workshop Sessions Location: See Individual Orientation Sheet for Details

College is a great time to get involved, find support systems, and build skills that will last beyond Beacon.

During this time, students will rotate between two (2) workshops. One workshop will focus on independent living skills, while the other sessions will teach student the best ways to get involved around campus.

5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Dinner Location: Dining Commons

7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Student Social – Welcome Bash Location: Beacon Oasis

Join in the fun at the Welcome Bash! Students will have the opportunity to dance, play mini golf, and more! Mystic Ice Cream will be on site – free for students to enjoy Thursday, August 21, 2025

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Breakfast Location: Dining Commons Orientation Meetings Location : Dining Commons

8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Following breakfast, all students will meet their OLs and Orientation Groups at the Dining Commons to attend their first Orientation session of the day.
