c. Students with approved Emotional Support Animals must abide by the policy provided at the time of approval. 11. Photographic and Video-graphic Recording a. All persons have a reasonable expectation of privacy while living in student housing communities. Taking still photographs, making a video recording, audio recording, or streaming audio/video of private, non-public in-person or virtual conversations and/or meetings without the knowledge and expressed consent of all recorded parties or where the person has a reasonable expectation of privacy is prohibited.  “Express consent” is clear, unmistakable and voluntary consent that may be in written, oral or nonverbal form.  “Private locations” are settings where the person reasonably expected privacy, such as residential living quarters, bathrooms, and personal offices.  “Private, non-public conversations and/or meetings” include communications carried out in circumstances that indicate any party wants the communication confined to the parties involved, excluding public gatherings or situations where the communication may reasonably be expected to be overheard or recorded. b. Cameras, video doorbells (i.e., Ring Cameras), or similar products may not be installed in the residence hall areas. Violations will result in disciplinary action and removal of unauthorized equipment. 12. Quiet Hours a. Quiet Hours are observed from 10 PM to 9 AM daily, with exceptions for Housing and Residence Life-approved programming. During quiet hours, noise from stereos, amplified music, televisions, musical instruments, radios, voices, etc., should not be heard by people in neighboring rooms, corridors, or outside the building. b. Music should not be played so it can be heard outdoors. Excessive or disturbing noise that infringes on the use and enjoyment of College Housing
