Withdrawal

A responding student facing an alleged violation of the Student Code of Conduct may have a hold placed on their transcript requiring them to contact the Vice President of Student Affairs or their designee to request permission to withdraw from the college. While a student may be permitted to withdraw from the college, the hold will remain on the student’s transcript until all allegations are resolved. The investigation into alleged conduct violations may continue regardless of the student’s withdrawal or choice to participate in the investigation. The college reserves the right to reinstate a student who withdraws at any point during the conduct process.

Policy Violations

Academic Integrity Policies

All accusations of violating Academic Integrity Policies, both intentional and unintentional, will be considered in violation according to the following definitions

1. Academic Misconduct a. Beacon College expects students to know, understand, and comply with the Academic Integrity Policies, which prohibit academic misconduct in any form. Academic Misconduct includes, but is not limited to: cheating, plagiarism, collusion, falsifying academic records, misrepresenting facts, violations of published professional ethics/standards, or any act or attempted act designed to give unfair academic advantage to oneself or another student. 2.
