such a restriction to any individuals involved in a conflict or incident, regardless of whether a determination of alleged violations has been made. Such restrictions are valid and enforceable only with respect to individuals who are students at Beacon College. The college may determine what college personnel have an educational need-to know regarding the status and/or outcome of conduct processes and to provide notice to relevant college personnel as determined by the Associate Dean, or their designee.

When a student is suspended or dismissed from the college for cause, there will be no refund or proportion of tuition and/or fees paid.

Search & Seizure

It is the policy of the Division of Student Affairs to conduct search and seizure activities when warranted.

Beacon College endeavors to foster a climate conducive to the purpose of education and learning, which assures the health, safety, and welfare of all students and personnel. College administrators wish to avoid or minimize disruption of the educational process. Therefore, in order to assist in the realization of these goals, the Associate Dean, or their designee, may authorize the following:  The search of any person or the personal property of any individual, including property owned and/or operated by Beacon College, upon reasonable suspicion that an illegal act or a violation of college policy is being or about to be committed. Types of property include, but are not limited to: campus housing, vehicles located on campus grounds, personal storage safes, bags / backpacks, and personal electronic devices.
