Welcome to Beacon, Navigator PREP students! This is your first step in joining the Beacon community. You will check-in during this time. During check-in, you’ll receive your housing key and complete the

clearance process; faculty, staff, and student leaders will be on hand to answer questions.

Clearance offices include: Financial Aid, Registrar, Accounting Services, Health Services, and Housing & Residential Life. If you’d like to expedite your check-in process, please complete and submit new student paperwork prior to your arrival on campus. Once your check-in has been completed and you’ve taken a picture for your student ID, spend the day moving into your new home and setting up your room!

Parking is available across the street from the Student Center, enter on Magnolia Street.

Your journey begins here! During check-in, you’ll receive your housing key and complete the clearance process; faculty, staff, and student leaders will be on hand to answer questions. Meet Hanah Diebold, Associate Dean of Student Engagement and Community Standards, as she introduces you to your Orientation Group and shares an overview of the Orientation schedule. Transportation to Morrison UMC FLC will be available for anyone who needs it. Beacon shuttles will leave from the RAP/PAR Courtyard at 2:45 p.m.

Welcome and Dessert Reception Location: Morrison UMC FLC (1009 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748) Join us for a welcome reception with Dr. George Hagerty – Beacon College President, Dr. Kevin Reilly – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dana Manzo – Vice President of Student Affairs, and additional faculty and staff from the College. Program begins at 6:00 p.m. with the time to socialize immediately following the program. Desserts provided. Thursday, August 21, 2025

Hear from staff within Academic and Student Affairs as they discuss student accountability and how parents and families members can best support their student during their time at Beacon College.

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Academic Resources at Beacon College

Learn tools to support your student’s academic pursuits and participate in discussion about best practices.

Join Dr. Hagerty, our President, as well as faculty, staff, and other incoming students for the ceremonial start to the academic year.
