Pre-Orientation Webinar Location: Livestream https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84834473300 Join us for a pre-Orientation webinar! During this time, we’ll discuss the steps to complete prior to your arrival, the check-in process, and go through the Orientation schedule.
Friday, January 17, 2025
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Incoming Student Check-In & Move-in Location: Student Center | 118 E. Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 Welcome to Beacon! During check-in, you’ll receive your housing key and complete the clearance process; faculty, staff, and student leaders will be on hand to answer questions. Clearance offices include: Financial Aid, Registrar, Accounting Services, Health Services, IT, and Housing & Residential Life. If you’d like to expedite your check-in process, please complete and submit new student paperwork prior to your arrival on campus. Once your check-in has been completed and you’ve taken a picture for your student ID, spend the day moving into your new home and setting up your room! Parking is available across the street from the Student Center, accessed via Magnolia Street.

Move-in / Campus Tour Location: Meet at RAP/PAR Courtyard for optional tour Use this time to get moved into your new space, shop for supplies, or get to better know your new community! If you’d like to participate in a campus tour, meet at the RAP/PAR Courtyard at 2:00 p.m.
3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m
Introduction to Orientation Location: Palace Theater
Meet Hanah Diebold, Associate Dean of Student Engagement and Community Standards, as she introduces you to your Orientation Group and shares an overview of the Orientation schedule.
4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Understanding Student Policies and Procedures Location: Palace Theater
Dinner (on own) Explore Leesburg or the surrounding area before joining our evening reception, social, and welcome event! Parent and Family Dessert Receptio Location: Palace Theater | 414 W. Main St., Leesburg, FL 34748 Join us for a welcome reception with Dr. George Hagerty – Beacon College President, Dr. Kevin Reilly – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dana Manzo – Vice President of Student Affairs, and additional faculty and staff from Beacon College. Desserts served and socializing begins at 6:30 p.m. Formal program begins at 7:00 p.m.

Learn about academic support, holistic development programs, and parental engagement strategies that empower our students to thrive.

Please join Orientation Leaders, students, and families for a special lunch. Take time for final farewells, pictures, and hugs before families depart campus.
