Student Sessions:

Quest for Success Through an interactive game, students will learn how the Center for Student Success and Learning Specialists supports academic, executive‑function, and organizational skill development during their time at Beacon. Experience Campus Housing Students spend time in a residence hall common area learning about campus housing, roommate relationships, and building community, with an interactive activity that highlights independence and daily living skills. Campus Culture Experience Hosted in the Fitness Center, this session introduces students to clubs and organizations, activities, athletics and ways to get involved and build connections on campus. Problem-Solving & Math at Beacon Explore how Beacon teaches math differently — through small classes, real-world applications, and individualized support. Feel confident in how you will approach college math at Beacon! Communication & English at Beacon This session highlights Beacon’s student-centered approach to reading and writing instruction, critical thinking and real-world skills that helps students grow as confident, capable communicators. Explore Campus Wellness Discover our counseling center and sensory room while learning how Beacon supports your well-being—inside and outside the classroom through mental health resources, social connection, and more. Career Preparation at Beacon Explore how Beacon prepares you for life after college. You’ll explore the services that empower students to build confidence, gain real-world experience, and move toward meaningful careers.
