Program Requirements A.A. in Humanities

This program of study requires the completion of a total of 61 credits, with 18 credits in the major. The Associate of Arts degree in Humanities provides students with an educational foundation before entering the work force or pursuing the bachelor’s degree. Required Courses • Humanities I: Moments of Global Change (3 credits) • Morality & Ethics (3 credits) • Humanities II: Modeling Social/Cultural Construction (3 credits) • Human Rights/Global Justice (3 credits) • Myths and Legends (3 credits) • From Villages to Empires (3 credits) Make the World Your Classroom! As a humanities major, you’ll be encouraged to take advantage of Beacon’s study abroad opportunities — from short-term summer experiences to spending an entire semester at our Prato program in Tuscany!
