may also choose to report sexual misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator pursuant to the Sexual Misconduct Response Policy. In certain cases that fall under this Student Code of Conduct, the Title IX Coordinator, may utilize the Grievance Process set forth in the Sexual Misconduct Response Policy instead of the Conduct Process. In such cases, the Title IX Coordinator apply the Grievance Process to investigate and decide the allegations and to provide any supportive measures or institute any emergency removals appropriate under the circumstances. In cases involving allegations of conduct prohibited under the Sexual Misconduct Response Policy and other College policies, the Title IX Coordinator may consolidate the allegations and work with the Director of Student Conduct, or their designee, to investigate and determine them together using the Grievance Process set forth in the Sexual Misconduct Response Policy.

Student Rights

Students are entitled to the following rights in connection with the conduct process:

1. The right to be notified of alleged violation(s) and the corresponding charge(s). 2. The right to be informed of the Student Conduct or Student Conduct Committee procedures and the right to waive their right to appear before the Student Conduct Committee. 3. The right to respond to charges. 4. The right to a fair and impartial hearing. 5. The right to an advisor from within the College community. 6. The right to present and/or challenge witness(s) statements and present relevant information. 7. The right to be informed of the outcome. 8. The right to appeal the decision within four (4) business days.
