p. Visitors are expected to adhere to all College policies and respect College property. q. Host students are responsible for their visitors’ conduct. r. Visitors must be escorted at all times when on Beacon College campus property. s. Visitors must not interfere with the educational environment. t. In emergencies, visitors must follow the College's emergency protocols. 18. Harmful, Threatening, or Endangering Conduct a. Behavior that harms, threatens, or endangers the physical or emotional health or safety of self or others. b. A threat that causes fear of an attack or an actual physical attack by one or more people which may include one or more types of harm, such as pushing, shoving, slapping, punching, or kicking, regardless of whether physical injury ensues. It may also include the use of weapons like knives, sticks, bottles, or bats. 19. Hazing a. Intentional, knowing, or reckless act directed against a student by one person acting alone or by more than one person occurring on or off college premises that endangers the mental or physical health or safety of a student for the purpose of pledging or associating with, being initiated into, affiliating with, holding office in, seeking and/or maintaining membership in any organization whose membership consists of students. Consent and/or acquiescence by a student or students subjected to hazing is not a reasonable defense in a disciplinary proceeding. Hazing includes, but is not limited to: Any type of physical brutality, such as whipping, beating, using a harmful substance on the body or similar activity; Any type of activity that subjects the student to an unreasonable risk of harm or that adversely affects the mental or physical health or safety of a student, such as sleep deprivation, exposure to the elements, confinement in small space, personal servitude, or calisthenics;
