How Do I Apply for Financial Aid? For maximum financial aid consideration at Beacon College, you must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) . Financial Aid Basics FEDERAL AID PROGRAMS Federal Pell Grants are available to undergraduate students only and they do not have to be repaid. Your eligibility for a Pell Grant is determined by the FAFSA. The maximum 2023-24 award is $7,395. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants are awarded to students with exceptional financial need and are based on Beacon’s allotment of funds, as determined by the federal government. Awards can range from $100 to $4,000 and do not require repayment.

STATE GRANTS Florida State Grants — Florida offers several state-funded financial aid programs to qualifying students who meet state residency requirements. They include the no-need Effective Access to Student Education (EASE) Grant and the Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) for students significant financial need.
