BOARD OF TRUSTEES Terms of Office Incorporation of Beacon College was May 14, 1989 – Official Opening was Fall 1989

• Trustees would be permitted to a maximum of three four-year terms of office. A Board Member who has fulfilled three successive terms of service, may return to the Board by the formal election process after a “stand down” period of at least one full year. • At the end of each term, a comprehensive 360° evaluation of the trustee will be performed.

• If a trustee is engaged in a specific service or a crucial project at the end of three consecutive terms, her/his service may be extended for one year. • The official start of all terms is September 1.

At the Board of Trustees meeting held May 2, 2014, a new term policy was adopted as follows:
